DEPTH AND POTENTIAL

So, Literally I woke up this morning with the urge to write. I was surprised too but this all I came up with. Such a good way to start the month of October, 2018. By the way Happy Birthday to Nigeria my country, October 1, 1960 it is that we had our independence from the United Kingdom.

In 1492, the fringe of a new world was discovered. Christopher Columbus dropped anchor in the San Salvador harbor of the Bahamas. Had he sailed westward just a little longer, he would have reached the mainland of North America.Most people are only aware of a little of the outer fringes of their possibilities. Like Columbus, who did not know how large the new continent he has just discovered was, having sailed from Europe, most men and women do not have the faintest ideas of their inherent powers.

There is an age that has been plagued by the political and religious conflicts, fears of economic collapse, widespread decline in morality and a palpable lack of self esteem among men. It is an age in which mediocrity has become the order of the day. More than anything else, the world no doubts needs an intellectual rebirth.

There is an urgent need for the emergence of people with a new orientation of self; a new way of thinking; and a way of looking at old things in a new way.

The magnitude and depth of your potential is yet to be tapped. Millions are born, live and die never discovering, talk less of manifesting the awesome potential that resides within them. Within you lies a treasure house capable of making you a power for good in the world.

Most people merely have sketchy ideas of the inherent powers or none at all. They do not really know what they are capable of. This reminds one of the misjudgments of America’s early settlers. Pushing westwards, they passed over the great plains of today USA. The soil was rich and productive, but they did not find the water they needed. Shallow wells which some dug failed to yield the water needed for growth and life itself. So, they moved on leaving behind them very rich lands.As the need for agricultural land grew in America, another generation took a look at the plains which were being used to graze cattle. Land owners began to sink deep wells and guess what happened eureka! Deep beneath the earth’s surface were great streams of water. The farmers began to irrigate their lands. That vast area has today become one of the world’s most productive regions.

Like the early settlers, most people do not reach down deep enough to tap the infinite stream of wondrous power within them, it is within you. It has always been there, but you’ve been ignorant of its presence, or you’ve have not reach deep down to make it available for use. Consequently, you have not availed yourself of the countless opportunities for all true growth.

I urge you today not to be like the early settles of America. Dig deep down into the great well of treasure within you. There, you will find the never ending stream of supply. Explore deep down, the undiscovered contents of your being. Discover your true self, enriched with tremendous capabilities for rich life filled with success, health, wealth and happiness.

There is power on your inside; the ability to be, to do, and to have. When you arrived the world, you arrived loaded. That why your help won’t come from afar but from within
